Guru Sandesha 2

Always seek Krishna upwards.

This incident is from the time when rukmiṇi was slated to marry śiṣupāla. Prior to the wedding, rukmiṇi visits the ambikā temple from where Kriśhna is expected to come and steal her away. She looks down to see if Kriśhna has arrived, but doesn’t see him. Then, she looks upwards and sees that Kriśhna has arrived. He gives her a hand and helps her board the horse driven chariot.

The subtle meaning of this is, one must seek God upwards. Even the Vedas mention it as “atyatiṣṭhaddaśāṅgulam”. When one meditates upon the divine by considering Him to be the higher being and the supreme one, Kriśhna comes and gives a hand to alleviate and emancipate us.

  1. good explanation. to add a few more one can think like this also.RUKMANI PREFERRED TO GET MARRIED TO KRISHNA, THEY ARE none other SRI MAHALAKSHMI./ SRMAN NARAYANA) ( Aishwarya) SISUPALA IS A DAITHYA ( AASURI SAKTHI) otherwise represents illwealth.
    THINK BEFORE ACT:
so if one gets wealth one must think well before spending it and try to distribute it for good cause . This goes for Sri Mahalakshmi (Punya) and if it is spent for bad and unproductive things it goes to sisupala(Paapa)
