Suneeti taught her son to ascend with achievement, when he was let down by disappointment. Her son, little Dhruva, was just a kid. He was disheartened. What he wanted was mundane. He would have been happy just by sitting in his father’s lap. He was heartbroken when even such a wish could not be met. However, his mother did not nurse him with a temporary cure. She showered him with an eternal solace. She directed her son to the path of playing in the lap of Lord Vasudeva Himself. And so, Dhruva attained a radiant world. This carries a message to all mothers. When children are faced with disappointments, the right thing to do is to instil virtuous ideologies in them, and not incite explosive behaviour. The true meaning of the saying “kīrtigobba maga” (a son for fame) would be realised in this path. And, it will bestow a fame like Dhruva and Suneeti’s upon you too.
