For a discerning seeker whose ultimate aim is liberation from the cycle of births and deaths, it is as important to have the right knowledge of His incarnations as it is to be cognizant of those that are not His incarnations. Acharya Madhwa cautions that if a person believes someone to be an incarnation of the Supreme Lord when he actually is not, such a person cannot achieve liberation.
For long, an often repeated charge that has racked the minds of the discerning is that Shri Krishna was a thief, was chummy with women, was of an amorous disposition etc. In a way, the above averment of Vedavyasa provides answers to various canards and objections, including those mentioned above.
The message of our Acharya is to perform our duty with devotion and offer it to the Lord. Duty and devotion are not mutually exclusive but are complementary.
When Sri Krishna, the supreme Lord, was born in the house of Vasudeva, Brahma ordained all the divine damsels also to descend on to the earth to serve Sri Krishna so as to please Him and for His love. Śrī Rājarājēshwara Tīrtha was a spontaneous poet. In recognition of his erudition and poetic skills, the King of the province of Mangalooru (Vīrapratāpa Dēvarāya II) donated the land of Kāntāvara to him. An epigraph corroborating this event is preserved at the Kāntāvara Maṭa to this day.
He who remains above everything, He who oversees everything, conducts everything, bears everything, the extractor, the all-powerful is the one who resides alongside everyone inside the body – the Supreme Lord.
It is pertinent to note that śrī hriṣīkēśa tīrtha makes a reference to śrī padmanābha tīrtha and addresses him as the ‘Guru of Karnatakas and other good men’.
Hence, it is imperative to meditate upon śrī kriṣṇa not as a mere mortal, but as the supreme One who is the cornucopia of the six fundamental attributes.

Sri Trivikrama Panditacharya states that Acharya Madhwa is the greatest of the great preceptors of the three worlds – this may mean the world as we comprehend it and the upper and nether worlds.
